Dr Hung was educated at the Loma Linda University Graduate Implant Dentistry program and received his Master and certificate in Science of Implant Dentistry. After that he joined the Graduate Endodontics residence from the same school and received his Endodontics certificate. His master thesis is “Immediate implant placement into the periapical lesions”
Currently, he is conducting several Endo-Implant related research topics and teaching at Loma Linda University department of Endodontics and Implant Dentistry as a part-time faculty. He also hosts an implant and Endodontics Study Club at Chino, CA and lectures nationally and internationally.

At present Dr. Hung is an active member and associate fellow of the AAID (American Academy of Implant Dentistry), AO (Academy Of Osseointegration), AAE (American Association of Endodontics).
